Curator of the Egyptian department of the National Museum of Antiquities, Leiden since 2010. Epigrapher at the Epigraphic Survey of the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago in Luxor. Studied classical languages, archaeology and history of the Ancient Near East at the State University of Pavia. Studied Egyptology at the University of Leiden.
